Who We Are
Since our humble beginnings in a small unit in Retford back in 2010, our unwavering commitment to delivering top-quality training solutions has been at the heart of everything we do. At ACTTnow, we recognised early on that to realise our full potential, we needed to evolve and expand our offerings. This led us to a transformative partnership with PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd in 2019, where our company was fortified in numerous ways. Drawing from the invaluable insights of our sister company in the engineering industry, we swiftly broadened our portfolio of courses to collaborate with esteemed organisations such as the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), bringing relevant skills training directly to the core of each sector.
Where Are We
To support our growth ambitions, we made the strategic decision to join forces with PJD by relocating to our current state-of-the-art facility in Doncaster. Situated on the doorstep of South Yorkshire, Humberside, and Lincolnshire's motorway network, our workshop-based training facility has become the epicentre of our operations, allowing us to expand our offerings into various areas.
What We Do
One of our flagship offerings is our confined space courses, facilitated within our purpose-built confined space unit accredited by City & Guilds, enabling all-weather training. Additionally, our 'site-ready' program ensures comprehensive competence in basic site-required health and safety training, incorporating both ECITB and City & Guilds courses. While we continue to provide traditional first aid, mental health, and IOSH classroom-based courses in our fully equipped facilities, our expansion into technical skills training further enhances our capabilities. From welder training to regional centre focus, our passionate team of industry-experienced and trainer-qualified professionals are dedicated to passing on their knowledge to you and your teams.
