Bookings
Bookings may be made by contacting ACTTnow directly via telephone, email, or message via our website www.acttnow.com. Telephone bookings should be confirmed in writing where requested.
Candidate names, along with other relevant information requested and purchase orders must be confirmed within 7 working days prior to the course commencement.
No contract between ACTTnow and the customer exists until a purchase order has been accepted in writing.
Provisional bookings may be taken pending deposit, full payment or written purchase order received and acknowledged. Bookings where a deposit, full payment or written purchase order has been received will have priority over a provisional booking.
Prices
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless advised otherwise.
Payment
Payment can be made via BACS or invoice, or through our website’s secure payment system.
No refunds will be given for candidates who fail to attend or complete the course or who do not achieve the required standard. No refunds will be provided for E-learning courses if the licence has been issued and the course started.
Payment Terms
Our standard payment terms require payment in full, or if agreed a 20% deposit of the total course price taken at the time of booking to secure your place. The remaining balance will become due no later the 28 days before the commencement of the course.
Our standard credit terms for account customers are 30 days from the invoice date or otherwise in accordance with any credit terms agreed between us.
Should a credit customer application be unsuccessful following a credit check with a suitable credit reference agency we will provide a proforma invoice and payment will be required before your course to confirm payment has been received.
ACTTnow reserves the right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs at the statutory rate in accordance with UK legislation.
Transfers/Changes
Transfer to a course taking place on another date will be treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking and the cancellation charges below will apply.
E-Learning Courses
Licences for e-learning material will not be allocated until payment in full has been received.
A refund will only be offered if the course hasn’t been accessed before 14 days of allocation, after this a refund will not be offered.
Courses purchased cannot be transferred to another candidate. Transfers to another course cannot be made.
Customer Cancellation
If you cancel a booked course, the following charges will apply:
More than 10 days prior to the course start date – full refund or no charge if paying by invoice.
6-10 days prior to the course start date – 50% of the course fee will be refunded or charged if paying by invoice.
- 5 days or less prior to the course start date – no refund will be given or 100% charge if paying by invoice.
Cancellations must be made in writing by post, fax or email and received by the course date prior to the course commencing.
If a delegate does not attend a booked course and has not cancelled it, this will be treated as a cancellation by the customer with no notice given and will be billed in full.
ACTTnow Cancellation
ACTTnow reserves the right to cancel any course, change a date or venue. In the event of any course being cancelled by us, a full refund of any fees will be given.
If the minimum number of candidates required to run a course hasn’t been achieved ACTTnow will cancel the course and contact you to inform you of this with alternative dates suggested to rebook if you choose.
If a candidate is unable to attend a course due to any changes made by us, a full refund of any fees will be made, no further compensation will be given.
Circumstances Beyond Parties Control
Neither party is liable for any failure nor delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control or of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, industrial action, civil unrest, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, acts of terrorism, acts of war, government action or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question.
Non-Attendance
If a delegate does not attend a booked course and has not cancelled it, this will be treated as a cancellation by the customer with no notice given and will be billed in full.
Late Arrivals / Missed Sessions
If you arrive late for a course or absent from any session, we reserve the right to refuse to accept you for training if we feel you will gain insufficient knowledge or skills in the time remaining. In all such cases, the full course fee remains payable. To conform with the qualification requirements for statutory certificates, attendance at all sessions is mandatory.
Candidate Suitability
It is the responsibility of candidates (or the company placing the booking) to ensure their suitability for this training before purchasing.
Use of Course Material
All training materials (videos, written materials and assessments) are supplied for the sole use of the candidate purchasing the training package. Copy or sharing these materials is forbidden.
Resource Requirement
Where applicable the customer should provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment required for delegates on specific training courses. Equipment and facilities provided by the customer must be deemed adequate and fit for purpose by us. Where this is not so, ACTTnow reserves the right to remove our staff at any point. In such instances, full cancellation charges will be payable by the customer.
Certification
Certificates are provided for successful completion of training/assessment as appropriate and are supplied only following full settlement of course fees. Copies of certificates can be provided upon request and are subject to a replacement certificate charge.
Privacy
ACTTnow is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and is compliant with General Data Protection Regulations. We may keep your details on file for future marketing purposes and course expiration reminders. Our detailed privacy policy explaining how we use the information we collect about you is available on our website.
Law, Disputes and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted according to the law of each country within the United Kingdom and all disputes arising under the Agreement (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of each Countries reciprocal court.
