Who Should Attend?
This test is designed for anyone working within the Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical, Engineering, Installation, Maintenance and Renewables sectors working in a supervisory capacity. To be eligible to attend the CCNSG LaTS course, you must hold a current CCNSG Safety Passport.

Learning Outcomes
The course covers the following areas so the learner will:
• Be able to influence the behaviour of those that they supervise
• Be able to ensure good planning and communication of health and safety related to site work
• Be able to ensure workers operate on site more safely, lowering risk to themselves and others

Modules will cover
• Strategies for working safely with others
• Tips for communicating successfully
• Leading a team effectively
• Guidelines for achieving safe outcomes
• Techniques for self management
• An Awareness of health and safety at work and their responsibilities for creating a safe workplace
• An understanding of safe solutions to problems in the workplace

The course contains theory-based learning. There will be a written assessment conducted and assessed by the instructor to ensure competency has been achieved.

Upon successful completion, the candidate will be issued with certification by the ECITB, valid for 3 years.

FAQ's

What do I need to bring with me?

You will be expected to bring a form of photographic ID with you. Suitable forms include a driver’s license and/or passport, and you will need to bring 2 passport style photos.

What accreditation will I receive?

Those who successfully pass, will receive a CCNSG LaTS card, which can take up to 10 working days to arrive at your home.

All courses, delegates are assessed continually and will need to complete a multi-choice assessment to pass.

How long does the certificate last?

Your CCNSG LaTS card will last for 3 years. You will need to complete the Safety Passport Renewal, before you retake your LaTS course.

Is there any funding for this course?

Those who pay into the ECITB levy, may be able to recover the course fees. Please do check with ECITB before buying this course.

How many people will be on the course?

There will be a maximum of 12 people on this course, and a minimum of 3. This is to make sure you receive the quality of training we pride ourselves on giving.

What time does the course start and finish?

The course starts at 0900 and aims to finish between 1530-1600

Do I need PPE?

No PPE is required.

What is included in the price?

All course materials, and a light lunch* is included in the price.

How long does it take for certification to arrive?

Your CCNSG LaTS card can take up to 10 working days to arrive to your home address.

When will I receive my joining instructions?

Your joining instructions will be sent as soon as booking is confirmed, and payment received.

Yes, there is limited parking outside the training centre.
