Who Should Attend?
This course is suitable for managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing resources and risk, in any sector, and any organisation.
Learning Outcomes
The course covers the following areas so the learner will:
• Understand how to assess and control risks and hazards
• Understand their own responsibilities for safety and health
• Understand how to investigate incidents
• Be able to measure their own performance

• Assessing risks
• Controlling risks
• Investigating accidents and incidents
• Measuring performance
Candidates will undertake two assessments, a multi-choice assessment and a work-based risk assessment task. IOSH Managing Safely is a level 2 course.
On successful completion of the course, the candidate will receive a certificate from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) for Managing Safely.
Valid for life, however we do recommend that the knowledge is refreshed regularly.

FAQ's
What do I need to bring with me?
On day one of the course, you will be expected to bring a form of photographic ID with you. Suitable forms include a driver’s license and/or passport.
What accreditation will I receive?
You will receive an IOSH certificate that is valid for life.
How long does the certificate last?
Both Working Safely and Managing Safely are valid for life.
Is there any funding for this course?
Those who pay into the ECITB levy, may be able to recover the course fees for City & Guilds courses. Please do check with ECITB before buying this course.

How many people will be on the course?
There will be a maximum of 12 people on this course, and a minimum of 3. This is to make sure you receive the quality of training we pride ourselves on giving.
What time does the course start and finish?
The course starts at 0900 and aims to finish between 1530 to 1600.
Do I need PPE?
No PPE is required.
What is included in the price?
All course materials, and a light lunch* is included in the price.

How long does it take for certification to arrive?
Physical certificates will be sent to the address the booker provided. This can take anywhere between 5 to 10 days.
When will I receive my joining instructions?
Your joining instructions will be sent as soon as booking is confirmed, and payment received.

Is there parking?
Yes, there is limited parking outside the training centre.
